The film included Shahid Kapoor as well as the actor Vir Das. The movie got mixed reviews. Anushka played a role in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer who played an American Punjabi girl from middle-class who starts her own wedding-planning company. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
